Set within the delightful complex of Jardines de Calahonda phase 3, with its delightful landscaped gardens and choice of two pools, one with a children's pool, this luxury spacious ground floor apartment is comfortably furnished with a lovely large sunny terrace, overlooking the lovely tropical gardens and pools. Living/dining area with seating for 6, kitchen has oven, hob, washing machine and fridge/freezer.  The double bedroom has an en-suite bathroom and there are two twin bedrooms and one separate bathrom.  The satellite TV shows the basic UK terrestrial channels. There is a private terrace leading onto communal gardens and pools. The beach is five minutes walk away and all amenties are very near, including the Miraflores golf club. 

 

Cabopino is one of the Costa del Sol's best kept secret with its beautiful sandy beach, harbour and a variety of renowned restaurants within ten minute drive.  Other attractions include scuba diving, wind surfing, sailing, horse riding or visiting one of the many theme parks, Sea Life Centre and Tivoli World in Benalmadena, Crocodile Park in Torremolinos, Hippodrome racecourse in El Chaparral, Selwo Safari Park in Estepona, Fuengirola Zoo, Water Slide Parks, Tennis Clubs, Gymnasiums.

The beautiful ski resort of Sierra Nevada is only a 2 hour drive away - ski one day and sunbathe the next!  Mijas Costa is ideally located on the the Costa del Sol the aptly named 'sunshine coast'. Calahonda is set between Fuengirola and Marbella and just a 20 minute drive along the coast from Malaga's international airport. There are miles of sandy beaches and clear blue seas, with all the necessary amenities close to hand - shops, bars and restaurants to suit all tastes - the perfect location for all age groups.

This is the ideal base from which to explore the area both locally and further afield. Whilst there are good local transport facilities, we would recommend that you hire a car for at least part of the time to see what the area has to offer and to make the most of your holiday. Key places of artistic and cultural significance, including the historic cities of Granada, Ronda, Cordoba, Sevilla, Jerez and Cadiz, are all within a 2-3 hour drive. Gibraltar is little more than an hour away.

In the summer, the weather is very hot, but in Calahonda you benefit from the sea breeze that just takes the sting out of the mid-day sun.  In May/June and September/October as it is a bit cooler but still very warm.  The winter period (November to March) is the best time for playing golf and exploring Andalucia by car. The temperatures are very pleasant and the skies are blue. You would be very unlucky to get a week of rain but the odd day or few hours has to be accepted as it is winter after all.  One can even swim in the sea in winter as it still is reasonably warm from the summer months.  The evenings do tend to be cool so you would be advised to bring a sweater or a jacket when you go out.

and the deposit will be refunded after departure

once the apartment has been checked over

Cancellation Policy

 

If you have to cancel your holiday before having paid the full amount (8 weeks beforehand), we will refund your deposit less an administration charge of €40 IF we are able to re-book the same weeks.  If you have paid in full, the cancellation charges are as follows:

 

4 - 8 weeks:             50% of rate refunded

2 - 4 weeks:             25% of rate refunded

less than 2 weeks:   no refund

 

UNLESS we are able to re-book any time up to the holiday, in which case we will refund your full payment plus deposit less the administration charge as above.
